Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch, followed by some rest. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the rolling plains, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelope. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch, allowing you to explore deeper into the reserve. Track the Big Five, observe predator action, and visit key wildlife areas such as river crossings (seasonal). Your experienced guide ensures the best possible sightings throughout the day. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy breakfast and check out before driving to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the lakeshore and woodlands, spotting flamingos, rhinos, giraffes, lions, and a wide variety of bird species. After the game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, passing through scenic landscapes and local towns. Arrive in Amboseli in the late afternoon and enjoy a short game drive en route to your lodge. Keep an eye out for elephants, buffalo, and plains game as Mount Kilimanjaro begins to dominate the horizon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Amboseli.
Day 5: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active, and Mount Kilimanjaro is often clear—perfect for photography. Explore Amboseli’s swamps and open plains, home to large elephant herds, hippos, birds, and predators. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, head out for another game drive or visit observation points for panoramic views. Dinner and overnight in Amboseli.
Day 6: Amboseli – Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive, soaking in last wildlife sightings and scenic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, check out and begin the journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon with unforgettable memories of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations.
