Masai Mara is a large game reserve measuring 1,510 square kilometers in southwestern Kenya, it is famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and its annual migration of zebra and wildebeest which occurs from July to October. This is known as the great migration. You will also visit Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National Park found along the Rift Valley.

Day 1 Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be picked up from your hotel and later depart to Masai Mara with a stop over at Great Rift Valley viewpoint for few minutes. Afterward, you will arrive in Masai Mara in time for a late lunch. Later, after some refreshment, you’ll proceed to the park for an afternoon game drive until the park closes at 6:30 pm. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Mara Enkorok Tented Camp.

Day 2 Masai Mara National Reserve Game Drive
After an early breakfast, you will spend a full day exploring this unique park with a picnic lunch. The Mara forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You have the chance to visit the Mara River, which borders Masai Mara and the famous Serengeti National Park, where there is a concentration of many animals. All meals and your overnight stay at Mara Enkorok Tented Camp.

Day 3 Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
You will have an optional visit to Maasai village. After a late breakfast, you’ll depart to Lake Nakuru National Park with a picnic lunch on the way in Narok town or Naivasha Town. There is an optional activity boat ride at Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha, which takes around two hours. Afterward, you’ll depart to Nakuru, arriving in the evening for check-in at Lake Nakuru Lodge, located inside the park, for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park – Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, you’ll spend the morning in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will see a lot of flamingos among other birds [about 350 species recorded]. This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino, and it is also home to Colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope.
After the game drives, you’ll have a picnic lunch as you depart to Amboseli through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park. This is home to the legendary Maasai people and is famous for huge herds of elephants. You will be arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Kibo Safari Camp or similar.

Day 5 Amboseli National Park Game Drive
After early breakfast, you’ll have a morning game drive, and it will be the perfect time for photographing the humbling and magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, if the weather permits. The rest of the day will be spent exploring the park with chances of seeing herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and different species of birds. You will have lunch at the lodge or a picnic lunch in the park, depending on what you will discuss with your guide. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Amboseli Kibo Safari Camp or a similar place.

Day 6 Amboseli National Park – Nairobi
You will have a pre-morning game drive to see the view of Kilimanjaro and big elephants, lions, zebras and other animals. After breakfast, with a picnic lunch on the way, you will depart from Amboseli to Nairobi where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport.
