This tour starts and ends in Nairobi. It covers Masai Mara for two nights and Lake Nakuru National Park for one night. It takes you on a scenic journey through the beautiful Great Rift Valley of Kenya. You’ll explore two of Kenya’s top game parks on thrilling wildlife-viewing drives over four adventure-filled days.

Day 1 Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You’ll be picked up from your hotel or the airport, depart for a scenic drive down to the Rift Valley, and proceed to Masai Mara, Kenya’s premier game reserve. You will be in your private safari tour vehicle. You will stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for stunning views of the world’s largest valley. You’ll arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch. Then, you’ll go for an afternoon game drive at 3:30 pm. This allows spotting the unrivaled wildlife in the park. You’ll then return to Sopa Ol Moran Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Adventure of the Great Mara

After breakfast, you’ll proceed on a full day of wildlife viewing in the Masai Mara Reserve. You’ll have your picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool. The game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange-tinged sunsets well worth capturing on camera.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is 1,510km² of incredibly wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara, Talek, and Sand Rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is a typical open savannah with a mass of amazing wildlife. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3 Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. You’ll arrive in time for lunch. Later, you will have a game drive across the park in the afternoon, searching for wild animals. Finally, you will have a chance to see rhinos and many bird species. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

After breakfast, you will depart for Nairobi. Your arrival will be around noon. You will be dropped off at either the airport or a city hotel. The arrival time can be adjusted depending on your departure time.
