Day 1 Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Our safari driver-guide will collect you from your beach hotel at 7:30 am (or earlier if you prefer). You’ll proceed to the Tsavo East National Park, a drive of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. You’ll enter the park through Bachuma Gate and commence your wildlife-viewing drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, etc. After lunch, you will have an afternoon wildlife-viewing drive until 6:30 pm. Since the accommodation is inside the park, you have the opportunity to view the wildlife in your comfort in the evening. Dinner and the rest of the evening are spent at your booked accommodation at Man Eaters Lodge.

Day 2 Tsavo East NP to Taita Hills Salt Lick Game Sanctuary

You’ll go on an early morning wildlife viewing within Tsavo East National Park until exiting time. Thereafter, together with your driver-guide, you’ll depart Tsavo East National Park for Taita Hills Sanctuary, arriving in time for lunch. You’ll check in and later on, enjoy an afternoon game viewing. Salt Lick Lodge is a truly unique architectural concept, with luxurious oval-shaped rooms. It overlooks a waterhole which attracts a large number of wildlife, especially elephants. In the evenings the animals gather at the waterhole to drink, a spectacular sight to behold. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Salt Lick Lodge on a full-board basis.

Day 3 Taita Hill Sanctuary to Mombasa

You will go on a pre-breakfast game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast. You’ll proceed for a morning game drive in search of lions, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and monkeys among many other animals. Later on, you’ll depart with lunch at a stopover hotel. You’ll depart for Mombasa, arriving in the afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at the hotel.

This marks the end of this trip with us in Kenya. If time is not a limiting factor, the trip can be extended to fit your interest.
