Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views of rural Kenya along the way. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, exploring the open plains dotted with acacia trees and seasonal swamps. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, weather permitting. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Enjoy lunch and relaxation at the lodge before heading out again later in the afternoon for more game viewing and sunset photography. Dinner and overnight in Amboseli.

Day 3: Amboseli – Tsavo East National Park

Visit landmarks such as the Aruba Dam, a magnet for wildlife, especially during the dry season. Dinner and overnight in Tsavo East.

Day 4: Full Day in Tsavo East National Park

The sheer size of Tsavo East offers a sense of raw wilderness and adventure. Return to the lodge for meals and relaxation between drives.

Day 5: Tsavo East – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided game drive through rolling hills, woodlands, and open grasslands. As evening approaches, experience game viewing from lodge viewing decks overlooking waterholes or salt licks, where animals gather at dusk and after dark. Dinner and overnight in Taita Hills.

Day 6: Taita Hills – Nairobi (or Diani/Mombasa Option)

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Taita Hills as the sanctuary comes alive with wildlife activity. Later, check out and begin your return journey to Nairobi. Alternatively, you can be dropped off at the train station or continue to the coast for a beach extension, marking a perfect end to your safari.
