Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive north through changing landscapes, from lush highlands to the rugged terrain of Samburu. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, spotting elephants, crocodiles, and the famous Samburu Special Five. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
Spend the day exploring Samburu on morning and afternoon game drives. This unique ecosystem offers excellent sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, large elephant herds, and rare species such as Grevy’s zebra and gerenuk. Enjoy lunch and relaxation at the lodge during the heat of the day, then head out again in the late afternoon for golden-hour game viewing—dinner and overnight in Samburu.

Day 3: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, check out and drive south to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided game drive in the conservancy, renowned for its high population of black and white rhinos. Visit the northern white rhino enclosure and learn about important conservation efforts. Optional visits to the chimpanzee sanctuary can be arranged—dinner and overnight at your lodge in or near Ol Pejeta.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru National Park
Begin with an early morning game drive in Ol Pejeta, with chances to spot predators, elephants, and plains game against the backdrop of Mount Kenya. After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s lake shores and woodlands, famous for flamingos, rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and diverse birdlife. Dinner and overnight near Lake Nakuru.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and journey through the Rift Valley toward the Masai Mara. Enjoy scenic views along the way and arrive in the reserve in time for lunch. After a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive, exploring the open plains rich in wildlife. Spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and vast herds of antelope as the Mara comes alive in the afternoon light. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 6: Full Day in Masai Mara
Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Search for the Big Five, follow predator activity, and—season permitting—witness the dramatic wildebeest migration along the Mara River. Optional experiences, such as a Maasai village visit or a hot air balloon safari, can be arranged. Dinner and overnight in the Mara.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you exit the reserve. Later, begin the journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon with lasting memories of Kenya’s diverse wildlife, landscapes, and conservation efforts.
